Yoolee Kwon was born in South Korea and moved to U.S. while in high school. She lived in Austin ever since and graduated from University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Human Ecology in 2010. She worked as a Research Assistant at the university’s kinesiology department under Dr. John Ivy while preparing for graduate school.
After witnessing and experiencing how patients are not getting heard by their doctors and not having a permanent solution to their health issues, she decided to become an acupuncturist to provide patient centered compassionate care patients truly deserve.
She graduated from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine, one of the top Oriental medicine programs in the nation. Along with getting trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine, she was trained in Master Tung’s points and Dr. Tan’s Balance Method. She is a certified cupping therapist and a facial acupuncturist.
She specializes in stress reduction, pain management, women’s health, and digestive health.
